ABOUT THE EVENT /
The American School Foundation’s Middle School MUN class is pleased to invite you to our fourth MUN conference. This conference will be held entirely in English and is appropriate for students in grades 6-9 (6º de primaria hasta 3º de secundaria).
This MUN will be a small conference with a maximum of 20 delegates per committee, allowing for a great deal of participation and learning. It will be held entirely on Zoom.
ASFMUN Jr. will be hosted on Zoom by the American School Foundation of Mexico City on Saturday, May 22nd. This conference is appropriate for both MUN beginners and veterans, and the emphasis will be on learning. The conference is free.
ASFMUN Jr. will use the UNA-USA Rules of Procedure.
The dress code for this event is Western business attire.

Please register by May 7th. Schools that register early will be more likely to get their students’ top choices of countries and committees. Registration is capped at 80 students, so register soon! This MUN will have one student per country (no double delegations).

Delegates who do not hand in a position paper will be at a serious disadvantage for winning awards.
Instructions:

Write a short statement of your country's position. This would include:

A short summary of the issue

A description of your country's experience and policy on the issue

Suggested solutions

Recommended length: 250-500 words (not including citations)

Cite your sources properly
